That is Sunday noon EST, 1pm CST, 7 pm in the UK, and Monday 8 am in New Zealand. And lest this sound strict, you know we would be pleased at any time to have your entry. We really aren't rule-oriented.

Done! You were right, it was much easier to come up with something.
I might do a picture of three French fancy cakes and let the viewer get the implications of 'Footloose and fancy free' but I think that's just getting silly. And probably stretching the very flexible rules of the challenge to their limits because I don't think you can actually do one where the words are not in the pictures but in the mind of the observer lol
Bev: Actually, I was thinking Fancy / Free would be next week's challenge. So, you're thinking along the right lines!
That said, as the home page of the blog states, the rules are only "so-called." To quote Captain Barbossa in Pirates of the Caribbean, "They're more like guidelines than actual rules."
Besides, if I can photograph buildings to depict Plain / Peanut, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to do what you're suggesting. I say go for it!
(And speaking of challenges, I need to get on the ball and find subjects for this week's...)

Couldn't find any French Fancies at the shop, only Viennese Whirls, which although quite fancy are probably stretching the meaning of the words of the challenge a point too far. So I have done very straightforward one instead.
