Forsaken / Foundling

Bobbie's Internet is down, so I'll take the 2 Things torch this week. This week's challenge is Forsaken and Foundling.

This challenge ends on Sunday December 2nd, 2007. Remember anyone can join, just post your entries on your blog and leave us a comment here. Have fun!

P.S. How did I come up with these words? I was thinking about how Mom (aka Great Grannie, aka Bobbie) has kept the 2 Things Challenge going, and without her it might have been abandoned. Thus forsaken. Once I thought of forsaken, I wanted a similar word but one that could be interpreted more positively. I'm sure I was also still thinking about the beauty of Lisa's found collage in New Zealand, the wonders at Bev's local Thrift Shop in the UK, and of course anything by Neda in Texas who for a lifetime has made art from found items. So, you have it, a peek into the way a mind works and how your blog posts stick with me.

Yea! I was so worried about not getting to post on Sunday, that I almost called you and asked. You must have "heard" me!

Well hello Mom! Are you back among the wired? (Or wireless as the case may be.) And yes, I know you and I knew you would be concerned. I am still a dutiful daughter, eh? ;)

A very interesting challenge. A challenge in every sense of the word as I found it a bit bloomin' hard! However, done one today.

Got mine on now, too. And, man, who thought of this pair this week? It was bloomin' hard. (Gotta love all that English slang that isn't real cursing.)

Hi Everyone,

I am just under the wire again ... but I am here!!

People don't see to put the link to their entry - just to the site - so the link is with my name. Thank you for this challenging challenge!!
