The next challenge is Savory / Sweet.
Because next weekend is a holiday, and there will likely be some opportunities to catch something savory or sweet on Sunday or Monday (not to mention that I will be out of town), this challenge will be extended to two weeks and will end at 12:00 Noon CDT, on Sunday, July 11, 2010. Remember, anyone can join! Just post your entries--as few or as many as you'd like--on your blog and leave us a comment here. All media are welcome--paintings, photography, collages, drawings, sculpture, poetry, whatever you'd like.
And as a teaser, the next challenge will be: Now/Then.

Broad / Narrow interpretations
This week's challenge was Broad/Narrow, and we had four distinctively different and interesting interpretations. These came from Maya, Diane, Rob, and Larry. Others indicated they wanted to enter, but alas, did not. If perchance I missed someone, leave a message here and I'll add it in. Thanks to everyone.

Fringe / Focus Interpretations
The challenge this past week was Fringe/Focus, and we had several different types of fringe depicted in the interpretations. There was beaded fringe, flower fringe, plastic streamer fringe, feather fringe, and a couple of electronic art fringes. Nice work folks. Our interpretations came from a newcomer to the challenge, Jack from South Carolina, Alexa, Larry, Rob, Jeremy, and a couple from Diane (here and here). If I missed one, leave me a comment, and thanks to all who have participated.

Organic / Chaos Interpretations
Organic/Chaos was the challenge for the last two weeks, two weeks instead of one because of a little organic chaos in my own mind the week before. We welcome ShEiLa back after a little hiatus, and a warm welcome to first time contributor Jeremy. We also had interpretations for some of our reliable contributors, Diane, Rob, and yours truly, Larry. If I missed anyone, leave a comment on this post and we'll add yours in. Thanks to all of you.
