April / October Interpretations

The challenge this week was April/October, and it turned out to be tougher for me than I thought it would, but I (Larry) cobbled something together, along with Jack, ShEiLa, Vivian, and Diane.  I like the twist each of you but on those two months, and thanks for participating.  If I missed anyone, leave a comment here and I'll get it posted too.
