Weekly Challenge: Cloud/Up

The next challenge is: Cloud/Up.

This challenge will end at 12:00 Noon CDT on Sunday, July 31, 2011, so don't forget. Remember, anyone can join! Just post your entries--as few or as many as you'd like--on your blog and leave us a comment here. All media are welcome--paintings, photography, collages, drawings, sculpture, poetry, movie clips, whatever you'd like.

And as a teaser, the challenge for the following week will be my first attempt to use randomly selected words from previous challenges. It will be: Music/Control

Bubbly/Flat Interpretations

The 2 Things Challenge this week was Bubbly/Flat.  We got two consumable interpretations and two landscape interpretations.  Thanks to all, and check out their blogs; Diane, Vivian, Mouse, and Larry (Eeyore).  If I missed yours, please leave me a comment.

Weekly Challenge: French/German

The next challenge is: French/German.

This challenge will end at 12:00 Noon CDT on Sunday, July 17, 2011, so don't forget. Remember, anyone can join! Just post your entries--as few or as many as you'd like--on your blog and leave us a comment here. All media are welcome--paintings, photography, collages, drawings, sculpture, poetry, movie clips, whatever you'd like.   This one should be a walk in the park for Janet and Maya, literally, so let's see if they can give us some good, on the ground, interpretations this week.

P.S.  I'm running out of the suggestions I received a few weeks ago, but someone said we should re-use some of the old challenges to get new interpretations.  Sounds good to me, but I thought I might shake it up a little by taking the first and second words from two independent randomly chosen previous challenges (unless it just seems utterly ridiculous when I pull them out of the hat).  We'll see in a couple of weeks how that goes.

Art/Graffiti Interpretations

Our challenge for this week was Art/Graffiti.  We definitely got some art and we got some graffiti, and we got some that are perhaps both.  Thanks to Diane, Vivian, Miss Mouse, and me (Eeyore) for their interpretations.  If I missed anyone, please leave me a comment, and we'd love to have some others join us in our little challenge.
